BCD Property Group managed the interior renovation of the Whole Foods Union
Square, NYC location after Amazon's acquisition of Whole Foods. This multi month, complex renovation at Whole Foods busiest location in the world was seamlessly performed on time and on budget during the companies busiest season —during Thanksgiving and New Years. All of our team(s) work was performed after the store closed at 11 pm and our crews and location was restored to full operating condition each morning before 7am.
BCD Property Group managed a complete top to bottom overhaul of this mixed use commercial property and transformed what was a near condemned building with 4 apartments and 1 store - into a brand new property with 7 market rate apartments, 2 brand new retail stores and an office. This multi-year project included the removal of underground oil tanks, addition of 8 new gas line(s) and meters, all new mechanicals room and three phase 800 amp service, all new plumbing, mechanicals, electrical underground and throughout the entire building, interior demolition and rebuilding of the entire interior of all spaces, new roof, windows, hvac systems and EIFS exterior with a new clock tower. BCD Property worked with the design and engineering team as well as the municipality - on this complex restoration project, which was done without 1 day of down time for the existing tenant(s) that were in the property.
